2. Why Vivastream App uses trackers
Vivastream App may use trackers to operate the service, secure user journeys, maintain user sessions, remember preferences, facilitate content playback, measure usage, improve performance, analyze incidents, and, where legally permitted, personalize some editorial surfaces or recommendations.
3. Categories of trackers used
Depending on the current service configuration and active integrations, Vivastream App may use the following categories of trackers.
- strictly necessary trackers required for service operation, authentication, session management, language preferences, or security of user journeys;
- usage or performance trackers used to improve the service, understand traffic on some pages, or detect technical issues;
- trackers related to some payment, security, or support integrations where such operation requires them;
- personalization or recommendation trackers where Vivastream App organizes some editorial surfaces based on preferences or viewing behavior;
- where relevant, trackers operated by technical partners involved in hosting, protection, payment, analytics, or service operation.
6. Consent management
Where Vivastream App provides a cookie banner, preference center, or similar settings interface, you may accept, refuse, or configure some categories of consent-based trackers.
Refusing a non-essential tracker should not prevent access to the essential functions of the service, except where the requested feature technically depends on the relevant tracker.
You may change or withdraw your choices at any time, subject to the technical limits of the service and of the browser or device used.
7. Third-party trackers
Some trackers may be implemented by third parties acting on behalf of Vivastream or, in some cases, for their own purposes linked to payment, security, authentication, hosting, technical analytics, or support.
Depending on the active integrations, such third parties may include payment providers such as Stripe, Apple, or Wave Money, as well as infrastructure or security providers such as Google Cloud Platform and other technical suppliers connected to the service.
Where those third parties operate under their own policies and obligations, we also encourage you to review their privacy and cookie information where relevant.
8. Tracker retention period
The lifespan of a cookie or tracker may vary depending on its purpose, whether it is strictly necessary, the service configuration, or the technical constraints of the relevant partner.
Vivastream seeks to limit tracker retention to what is appropriate for the relevant purpose. Data collected through trackers may then be retained for a period appropriate to the related processing purpose, in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable legal obligations.
9. Browser or device settings
In addition to the tools made available by Vivastream App, you can generally configure your browser, device, or system settings to limit, block, or delete some cookies and similar trackers.
Blocking strictly necessary trackers may degrade or prevent the operation of some parts of the service, including login, session stability, some payments, some preferences, or some technical integrations.
10. Link with the privacy policy
Where a tracker allows the collection or use of personal data, the related processing is also governed by the Vivastream App privacy policy.
This cookie policy therefore complements, but does not replace, the privacy policy.
11. Changes to the cookie policy
This cookie policy may be amended to reflect service evolution, technical integrations, legal requirements, or recommendations from competent authorities.
The applicable version is the version published on the platform on the date of consultation. In the event of a material change, Vivastream may inform users by any useful means.
